Your response will help both you and your employer. You rarely have access to compensation data on people who hold positions similar to yours. Executives at LSPs struggle to establish compensation grids for their staff. They typically don't know whether the salaries they offer are in line with industry norms. They also lack benchmarks to develop compensation packages for new recruits, to give raises, or to promote someone internally. In addition, when they want to open an office in a new location, they seldom know how to design an attractive compensation package for that market.
The study led by Common Sense Advisory is designed to provide salary and incentive data by title, seniority, and company size. Results will be provided at the global and regional level but also most importantly at the local level.
This means that we need large volumes of responses from all over the world to participate in this important effort - project managers, in-house translators, localization engineers, sales staff, and all those employees of LSPs engaged in the language services part of the business.
